Friends of Fairies

We all know the importance of Faerie-like beings as they pollinate our existence, as well as the returned kindness of recycling and repurposing to keep their homes clean. This project is dedicated to the hardest working, most necessary creatures on our planet.

This project is still in the works. Once complete it should stand about 3ft tall with several flowers, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators surrounding a free-standing column. Below are some of the pieces I have completed so far, as well as their stages.

The progression of this rose is one of my favorites. about a month of work has gone into this one flower, starting from glass tile that I painted with nail polish and paint pens, shaving them down with an angle grinder and Dremel, then repainting and gluing them all together. I will never make another like it.
